Emily Markley serves as an Associate Program Director for ACE Teaching Fellows, supporting the ACE communities of Philadelphia and Washington D.C. In addition to this role, she focuses on recruitment, selection, placement, and enrollment efforts, inviting prospective ACE teachers from colleges and universities in both the Philadelphia and D.C. metropolitan areas.
As a member of ACE 29, Emily taught middle school math at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School in Oklahoma City, OK. Aside from teaching, Emily facilitated the middle school "House" system, designed and taught various elective classes, served as a catechist for the parish Religious Education program, and coached 7th and 8th grade boys basketball.
Emily is a 2021 graduate of Villanova University (go Cats!), earning a BBA in Finance and Business Analytics with a minor in Psychology. While at Nova, she worked as an Equipment Manager for the football team and was active in community service organizations across campus.
Emily is originally from Media, PA.
